History
The The Lower New York Insurance Blog originated at insuranceblog.morrell-insurance.com. At this location, all the post were sponsored by the Morrell Insurance Insurance agency. The blog was moved in 2009, allowing for more flexible hosting and independence. Near all of original articles are ported into the new blog’s location. Although imported, the perma links with the domain name are different. Future work is planned to redirect the blog server’s address at insuranceblog.morrell-insurance.com to this new location. The imported posts are imported with the authorship named as The Lower New York Insurance Blog.
Posting
The blog’s post are found on the sites home page. Posts are sponsored by your-insurance-site.info, affiliated insurance agencies and qualified syndicated feeds. Posts whose contents are from syndicated feeds are read and moderated** and if found to be of suitable content, it is then posted on the blog. The blog moderator will manage the ratio of the syndicated feed posts to unique content posts to maintain an overall content mix that is fresh, unique, and encompassing.
Advertisement packages are available, providing agents a service to sponsor custom articles. These articles are posted with the agents logo and links to the agency web site.
Insurance related syndicated feeds are monitored and if approved**, they then contribute as posts to this blog.

These pages are different than the home page. The home page contains the moderated posts with their comments. The news pages contain content from syndicated feeds, which are not human moderated**. The feeds’ source are humanly selected and the individual content is machine moderated** by advanced digitally filtering.
